Microneedling

Microneedling also known as collagen induction therapy involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tine, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of skin, the micro-injuries created stimulates the body’s natural wound healing processes, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production, therefore reversing as well as preventing signs of aging, reducing wrinkles, improvement in the visibility of scaring and hyperpigmentation.

Our treatments can either be carried out using a Dermaroller or a Dermapen.

Dermaroller: This contains hundreds of tiny needles. When in use, these needles create micro-injuries on the skin, which in turn sends collagen and elastin production into overdrive to compensate as it heals—leaving your complexion tighter and plumper than it was beforehand. The procedure stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.

Dermapen: This technique uses the same principle as the Dermaroller, but rather than using a rolling action, the Dermapen moves the needles in and out at a rate of about 1000 times per second. This avoids any possible rolling injury to the skin that can occur with the Dermaroller.
